Looking for simple tools to build a personal static site for notes

I want to build a small static website for personal notes and knowledge sharing. Nothing fancy — no backend and no complex setup. Just a clean static site I can update and publish easily.

What tools or static site generators would you recommend for this kind of simple project?
I am looking for options that are easy to learn, quick to set up, and beginner-friendly.
