Last weekend I attended my first hackathon, Kingdom Code London. Working from a coworking space in the New Zealand embassy, over 100 developers, designers and ideators congregated to birth website and app concepts in under 48 hours. As part of the Christian organisation Code for the Kingdom, our projects were designed to help charities, non-profits, churches and fellow-Christians. Furthermore, there were 12 other hackathons in 8 countries going on at the same time totalling 800+ people and 100+ projects.
