What you're seeing on the video gif isn't just basic tab syncing—it's live tab broadcasting technology similar to what Booking.com uses on their website to notify about booking progress (when it's not finished etc)
Here's the kicker: while researching this technology, I found that an estimated 95% of developers aren't using this capability, despite it being available in some form across modern browsers and specialized tools.
