Hi There 👋🏻
I've been a C# guy for two years now, I started my writing journey on Dev with content focused on C# mainly, and everything I worked on in my career has always been C# or revolved around .NET and C# from my personal projects, to my blog posts, and my professional day-to-day job. But it came to me to try something crazy and that is to learn Swift!
But, Why?
Well, I wanted to build a macOS application not using a cross-platform framework or something like MAUI, Electron, React Native, or any of these. So, Swift it is!
I've been playing around with the language for a while and I'm lowkey liking it, like I'm not finding it extremely difficult to get used to it because it borrows a lot from the C family of languages, and it is statically typed with powerful type inference and a nice syntax.
So my question is, would you be interested in getting to see Swift content from my learnings and experience as a total newbie in this new world? Leave your thoughts in the comments! And don't forget to share any crazy combinations of languages you're trying, like me
C# - Swift đź’Ş
That's my combo for now! What about yours?
