Like many people, I downloaded social and dating apps hoping to meet new people, have genuine conversations, and maybe even form friendships. But more often than not, I found myself swiping endlessly, dodging fake profiles, ignoring ads, or just feeling emotionally drained.
I began to wonder — when did “social” apps stop being social?
So I decided to build something different.
