KEXP hosted Khu éex’ in the studio for a ripping live take of “T Funk,” recorded June 12, 2025. The Native-led ensemble features Preston Singletary on bass, Captain Raab on guitar/vocals, Sondra Segundo on vocals and rattle, Gene Tagaban on vocals/handdrum/flute, Edward Littlefield on trap drums/vocals, plus Tim Kennedy (keys), Denny Stern (percussion), Jason Cressey (trombone), Gordon Brown (sax) and Kate Olsen (baritone sax). Host Tory Johnston kept the vibe flowing while engineer Kevin Suggs and mastering whiz Matt Ogaz nailed the sound.
