The Ryder Cup’s quirkiest piece of merch actually started as a pandemic hobby. Aussie craftsman Jon Millman began tinkering with custom ball markers at home—and before he knew it, his handiwork was on the bag of Rory McIlroy when he clinched the 2025 Masters and completed his career grand slam.

Now under the Golf Life Metals banner, Millman’s markers are headed to Bethpage Black. Both Team Europe and Team USA will be using his bespoke designs at the 2025 Ryder Cup.
