Nation of Language swung by KEXP’s Seattle studio on August 4, 2025, to lay down a shimmering live take of “I’m Not Ready For The Change.” The synth-pop trio—Ian Devaney (guitar/vocals), Aidan Noell (keys/vocals) and Alex MacKay (bass)—jammed for host Cheryl Waters and a small army of audio and camera pros.
Behind the scenes, Julian Martlew handled audio engineering alongside guest mixer Skinny Salazar, Matt Ogaz mastered the track, and Jim Beckmann, Carlos Cruz, Scott Holpainen & Luke Knecht manned the cameras while Beckmann also took on editing.
