Bubsy 4D Preview

Bubsy’s back in action for 2025 and, shockingly, it mostly works. Our hands-on time revealed that this new mascot-platformer nails the goofy charm, with zippy level design, catchy visuals, and the classic over-the-top shenanigans fans know and love.

It’s not all smooth feline sailing, though: rough controls and a few outdated mechanics still trip up the bobcat’s comeback. Bubsy 4D has enough bright spots to justify the revival, but it stumbles enough to remind you why its past outings were… mixed.
