Day v3: Late Starts, Git Revisions, and the Chaos of Balancing Everything

So today was… interesting. Woke up way later than I planned (consistency who?), but still managed to hit the gym because apparently, that’s the one thing I can’t skip even when my brain is begging me to stay in bed.

So today was... interesting. Woke up way later than I planned (consistency who?), but still managed to hit the gym because apparently, that's the one thing I can't skip even when my brain is begging me to stay in bed.

The COA Struggle

Started studying Computer Organization and Architecture for upcoming college exams. Not gonna lie, I'm lowkey terrified I'm about to get absolutely destroyed in those exams. Being away from academics for a while hits different when you come back and realize you remember approximately nothing. Fun times.

Git? Again? Yes, Again.

Here's the thing—I spent part of today revisiting Git on learngitbranching.js.org and before you call me dumb, hear me out. Going back to fundamentals isn't stupid. It's actually one of the smartest things you can do.

Most developers (including past me) rush through the basics, think they've got it figured out, and then spend the next two years googling "how to undo last commit" every other week. That interactive learning site is genuinely one of the best resources out there for understanding Git visually. Branching, merging, rebasing—it all makes way more sense when you can see it happen in real-time.

Pro tip: If you've been coding for a while but still feel shaky on Git, just go back and relearn it properly. Your future self will thank you.

The Balance Act

There's also someone's birthday coming up, so I need to write something for them, which means my coding time takes a hit today. Balancing tech, fitness, college, and actual life is... a lot. But it's better than doing nothing, right?

Being back at work/study after a break feels oddly comforting. Like, I'd rather be self-destructive while building something or learning than just existing aimlessly. At least burnout has a purpose when there's output attached to it.

The Plan

Just gotta keep running till December, then vacation hits and theoretically everything becomes easier (I'm on maximum copium here). For now, it's about showing up consistently—gym, studying, coding, all of it.

No master plan, no perfect schedule. Just trying to stay afloat and make something happen.

Let's see how long I can keep this up. 🚀
