What You'll Need
1. How to Create a Table in InDesign
Step 1
Before we get started with this round corners InDesign tutorial, open the restaurant brochure and install the fonts. In this rounded table example, we will work from the fresh juice section on page 3. Go to Table > Create Table and change the Body Rows to 6 and the Columns to 4. Select OK.

Step 2
Copy (Command-C) and paste (Command-V) the juice menu text into the table.

Step 3
Highlight the first row and click the Merge Cells icon in the top toolbar.

Step 4
With the first row still selected, Fill it with C100 M0 Y0 K0 and change the Tint to 18%.

Step 5
Fill the other rows with Pantone 7530 C and change the Tint to 20%.

Step 6
Highlight the first two columns. Select the vertical inner bar in the top toolbar. In the Swatches panel, change the Stroke to None. Do the same to the other two columns.

Step 7
Select the entire table and change the border Stroke to None. In the next section, we will create the round corners in InDesign.

2. How to Round Corners in InDesign
Step 1
Select the Rectangle Tool (M) and create a frame that's bigger than our table. Change the Fill to None and the Stroke to Black.

Step 2
Select the table and Edit > Cut. Now, select the black frame and Edit > Paste Into.

Step 3
Double-click one of the corners (highlighted in red) of the frame so that the border snaps to the edges of the table.

Step 4
With the table still selected, go to Object > Corner Options. Change the Corner Shape to Rounded and click OK. You've now finished making a rounded rectangle in InDesign.
