We talked last time about how to structure data for IoT projects and some of the decisions that led me to the structure that I have ultimately taken with the project, so this makes it seem like a good time to start looking at the code, in particular, the code I use to capture the data from the inverter itself. I’ll be focusing on the code for the Downloader, which lives in this part of the GitHub repo and also touch on a bit on the general development approaches I went with for the project.
