I have been very impressed with the founders of Netlify:
For me Smashing Magazine was the watershed moment for JAMstack1, similar to what Filament Group (and friends) did for
Sites that move to this architecture really have the opportunity to see some big wins in both developer experience and user experience (as if they were ever in disagreement).
At this point it's pretty clear that Responsive Web Design has won. The few lone hold-outs are left defending the User-Agent
string—that’s not a hill you want to die on. Are there a few bad implementations of Responsive Web Design? Sure. But it's the clear winner to deliver your site to the infinite landscape of real world devices.
I believe the same revolution is happening with JAMstack and I’m excited to play a part of it at Netlify.
