If you don't have time to learn how to make a Ramadan flyer, you can always head over to Envato Elements, where you will find plenty of Eid flyer templates available to download for a low-cost subscription fee!
Whether you're looking for an Eid flyer, a Ramadan theme, or an Eid Mubarak template PSD, there's plenty available. You don't need to start with a blank flyer template when you can easily download and edit professionally designed templates that are ready for print. All you need to do is download the file, open it, and edit the text, colors, and elements as needed.
Here is an example of an Eid flyer template found on Envato Elements.

What You'll Learn in This Tutorial
- How to set up a print-ready document in Photoshop
- How to add vector shapes in Photoshop
- How to include text and images in Photoshop
- How to create a clipping mask in Photoshop
- How to decorate a Ramadan Eid Flyer
What You Need to Complete the Eid Flyer Template PSD Tutorial
Here are the tutorial assets you will need to download:
- Ramadan Iftar Food
- Islamic Ramadan Backgrounds
- Moroccan Style Seamless Vector Patterns Vol.1
- Eid Mubarak Paper Art Vector Card Vol.8
- Web and Social Icons
You can use these assets while we explore how to create the Eid flyer, or you can use any other asset to your liking. You can basically apply the steps behind this Eid flyer template to any images, fonts, or ideas you would like to.
1. How to Set Up a PSD Flyer Document
Step 1
Let's start by setting up the Eid flyer PSD file.
We will be using a standard flyer size for this tutorial. Create a New Document in Adobe Photoshop at 8.267 x 11.693 inches.
Set the Resolution to 300 ppi and Color Mode to CMYK.

Step 2
Create new guides to represent the bleed area (the area around the border where the printer will cut the paper). We will go for a standard bleed of 0.125 inches on this Eid flyer PSD file.
To start, let's set our first guide. Go to View > New Guide, and set the Orientation to Vertical and the Position to 0.125 inches.
Repeat the same process to create the second guide, but this time set Orientation to Horizontal with the Position at 0.125 inches.

Step 3
Next, we need to set up the remaining two guides.
You will have to subtract 0.125 inches from the height and width of the document. So in this case, for the width, it will be 8.267 (width) - 0.125 (bleed) = 8.142 inches, and the height would be 11.568 inches.
Go to View > New Guide, and set the Orientation to Vertical and Position to 8.142 inches.
Repeat the same process for the last guide. Set Orientation to Horizontal and the position to 11.568 inches.

2. How to Organize the Flyer File
We need to organize our flyer file so that everything is in order when we get started with the work. We'll create New Groups that are labeled and color-coded for each flyer section.
Open the Layers panel (Window > Layers) and create the following Groups by clicking the Create a New Group icon on the Layers panel.
Label them in the following order:
- Logo
- Text
- Social Media
- Design Elements
- Background
Then color code each group by Right-clicking the Eye Icon and choosing the color of your choice.

3. How to Create an Eid Flyer Background
Step 1
Now let's start with our design. For the main background, we will add a linear gradient.
Select the Gradient Tool (G) from the Tools menu. If the tool isn't visible, hold down the Paint Bucket tool. Then double click on the Gradient Editor on the top menu bar to display the Gradient Editor dialog box.
Select the Gradient Type: Solid, and then create a Linear Gradient that goes from a white #ffffff
starting point to a light beige #e7d9ce
ending point. Click OK.
Next, using the Gradient Tool (G), position the pointer on top of the canvas, where you want to set the starting point of the gradient and drag it down to define the ending point. You can hold down the Shift key as you drag to constraint the brush angle. Make sure to apply the linear gradient to the Background layer.

Step 2
Next, we will create a nice color split to the background. Move on to the "Background Elements" layer.
Select the Rectangle Tool (U) and make a large blue square on top of the canvas that's about 6 x 8 inches. Set the fill to a Linear Gradient from white #005682
to #13354f
.

Step 3
Now, let's add an arabesque pattern over the background. Jump quickly over to Adobe Illustrator and open the file you've downloaded from Envato Elements, called Moroccan Style Seamless Vector Patterns Vol.1.
Once you've opened the file, select Moroccan Pattern 11 from the Swatches panel (Window > Swatches).
Grab the Rectangle Tool (M) and tap once on the canvas to open the Rectangle dialog box. Set the Width to 15 inches and the Height to 21 inches. We want the pattern shape to be bigger than our original flyer size so that we can scale our pattern down.
Command-C to Copy the pattern-filled shape.

Step 4
Move back to our Eid flyer file in Photoshop.
Command-V to Paste the copied vector onto our artboard. Paste As: Smart Object.
Then double-click on the "Vector Smart Object" layer, apply an Overlay, Blend Mode, and set the Opacity to 30%. Click OK.
We are now done with the "Background Elements" layer.

4. How to Add Text to the Eid Flyer
Step 1
Move on to the "Text" layer, so we can lay out our flyer design and add the text.
We want to create a focal point to our flyer where the audience needs to read. So we need to create two guides to help us align our text to the flyer, from the left and right.
Click on the vertical ruler and drag to the right to create a new vertical guide where our text will start at about 0.37 inches and another to end our text area at 5.6 inches.
So our text will be sectioned to be placed on the lower left-hand side of the flyer.

Step 2
Let's add the header text to the Eid celebration flyer.
Open the Character panel (Window > Character).
From the toolbar, select the Type Tool (T). The Horizontal Type Tool will be selected by default. We will use it to add the title text horizontally into the designated area.
Move the Type Tool (T) to about 7 inches down and on the vertical guide we just created, and add the text "Celebrate Eid Al Adha", in Berkshire Swash Font Type, in Gold #bf7f30
Font Color, as shown below.
Type "Celebrate" in Font Size approx 59 pt, and "Eid Al Adha" at 71.5pt, to align between the guidelines.
Name the layer "Title" in the Layers panel.

Step 3
Apply a subtle Gradient Overlay effect to the "Title" layer. Click the Add a Layer Style button at the bottom of the Layers panel; from the menu options, choose the Gradient Overlay effect.
In the Layer Style dialog box, set the following:
- Blend Mode: Normal
- Opacity: 53%
- Gradient: Beige
#f3c79b
to Gold#c07f2f
- Angle: -102°
- Scale: 81%
- OK
Step 4
Below the "Title", add a "Body Text" layer.
Select the Type Tool (T). Select the area of the canvas in which you want to place your text, and place a text box in that position to type in your body text:
"This Eid celebration, book your dinner table at the luxurious Abu Ali restaurant, in Burj Al Khaleej Tower in Downtown Arabia. Enjoy our iconic dishes in our richly decorated setting, in the hotel's huge atrium with magnificent sea views. Eid Mubarak!"
From the Characters panel, set:
- Font Type: Montserrat
- Font Size: 13.37pt
-
Color: Blue
#1b2a3c

Step 5
Then we need to add some 'call to action' text, so our customers can contact us, and to include the website link, below the "Body Text" layer.
Make sure the Paragraph panel is open (Window > Paragraph).
Select the Type Tool (T). Select the area below the body of text, and create a text box the width of our 'text area' guidelines, almost 0.287 inches in Width and Height.
Type "For Booking Call +00 (01) 234 5678".
Click Center Text alignment from Paragraph panel, and from the Characters panel, set:
- Font Type: Montserrat
- Font Size: 11.8pt
-
Color: Blue
#1b2a3c
Don't forget to name the layer "Booking" in the Layers panel.

Step 6
Add the website "www.abuali.com". Leave some space between the "Booking" text and the website so we can add social media icons in the next stage.
Select the Type Tool (T), and create a text box approx 0.25 inches in height, below the "Booking" text area.
Click Center Text alignment from Paragraph panel, and from the Characters panel, set:
- Font Type: Montserrat
- Font Size: 12pt
-
Color: Gold
#c07f2f
In the Layers panel, name the layer "Website".

5. How to Create a Quick Mockup Logo
Step 1
Next, we will create a simple logo for our Eid flyer since we don't have an actual one designed.
Move on to the "Logo" layer in the Layers panel, and open the Properties panel (Window > Properties).
Select the Rectangle Tool (U) from your toolbar, hold down the Shift key to constrain the shape, and create a square with 0.43 inches Width and Height.
Through the Properties panel, set the Rotation Angle to -45°, null Fill, and Stroke of 12.87px in gold #c07f2f
, and place it roughly in the top left-hand corner of the flyer.

Step 2
Duplicate the 'Rectangle' layer. To duplicate it, select the layer and drag it to the New Layer button in the Layers panel.
From the Properties panel, set the Rotation Angle to -90°, and change the Stroke color to a lighter gold #d99642
.

Step 3
Next to the simple logo shape, we will add a generic restaurant name.
Grab the Type Tool (T), and type in "ABU ALI", and from the Properties panel, set:
- Font Type: Montserrat Bold
- Font Size: 17.7pt
-
Color: Gold
#c07f2f
Name the layer "Logo Name".

Step 4
Apply a Gradient Overlay effect to the "Logo Name" layer, the same effect we used on the "Title" layer.
From the Layer Style dialog box, set the following:
- Blend Mode: Normal
- Opacity: 36%
- Gradient: Beige
#f3c79b
to Gold#c07f2f
- Angle: -922°
- Scale: 81%
- OK

6. How to Add Social Media Icons to the Flyer Design
Step 1
Moving ahead, let's add some social media icons to the Ramadan flyer design. Open the files of the downloaded asset Web and Social Icons.
Locate and open the three files of the social media icons we need: Call + Instagram + FB (Facebook).

Step 2
Grab the Paint Bucket Tool (G) from the Toolbar, select a Fill of the gold color #af7e3a
, and apply it to the circular shape with the gold color.
Repeat this same process for each of the three icons.
Step 3
Select "layer 1" of each icon and drag and drop it onto our Eid_Flyer.psd file, right into the "Social Media" layer group in the Layers panel.
Name each layer accordingly in the Layers panel as you drag and drop it onto the canvas.
Select all three icon layers, by holding the Shift key down, and then continue to scale them down and position them over the website text area, as shown below.

7. How to Create a Clipping Mask
Step 1
Head back over to Adobe Illustrator, and open the AI file Eid Mubarak Paper Art Vector Card Vol.8.
Open the Layers panel (Windows > Layers), and select the three path layers shown below.
Command-C to Copy.

Step 2
Move back to the Eid celebration flyer design in Adobe Photoshop. Press Command-V to Paste on the "Design Elements" layer. In the Paste dialog box, select the Paste As Smart Object option and click OK. Your image will be imported and will show pasted as a Vector Smart Object in the Layers panel.

Step 3
We can rasterize the contents of a Smart Object to a regular layer since we no longer need to edit the Smart Object data. Right-Click on the Vector Smart Object layer and select Rasterize Layer.
Then Duplicate the layer, by selecting the layer and dragging it to the New Layer button in the Layers panel.
Use the Magic Wand Tool (W) to select the purple gradient section of the design, and Delete the selection with the Delete key to remove the filling and keep the ornamental border.
A preview will show in the Layers panel.

Step 4
Now let's add the Ramadan Iftar Food photo to the Ramadan buffet flyer. The easiest way to add an image in Photoshop is to drag and drop it from your computer. Locate the image file and drag and drop it into your canvas, between the two Vector Smart Object layers.
Make sure to rotate the image, and slightly scale it to fit within the ornamental frame.

Step 5
Now let's create a Clipping Mask.
Right-Click on the "Ramadan-iftar-food-EJQCTNV" layer and select Create Clipping Mask so that the below layer will be masked and the upper photo layer will be cut off.

Step 6
Head back to the "Vector Smart Object Copy" layer to fix the golden hue of the golden frame to match our Ramadan buffet flyer design. With the layer selected, click the Add a Layer Style button at the bottom of the Layers panel; from the menu options, choose the Gradient Overlay effect.
Set the following:
- Blend Mode: Multiply
- Opacity: 63%
- Gradient: Beige
#f3c79b
to Gold#c07f2f
- Angle: 90°
- Checked Reverse
- Scale: 72%
- OK

8. How to Decorate the Eid Flyer Template
Step 1
Now, let's decorate our flyer.
Open the Islamic Ramadan Backgrounds folder, select the "Vector" folder, and open the "Ramadan 02.ai" file using Adobe Illustrator.
From the Layers panel, go to the Elements folder, select the moon 'Clip Group', and drag and drop it onto our Adobe Photoshop flyer template.
Scale down the moon shape and position it, and then Add a Layer Style from the Layers panel.
Choose the Outer Glow effect, and set the following:
- Blend Mode: Screen
- Gradient: Blue
#183c68
to and Opacity of 0%. - Technique: Softer
- Size: 150 px
- Range: 50%
- OK

Step 2
Move back to the Islamic Ramadan Backgrounds, "Ramadan 02.ai" file.
From the Layers panel, go to the Elements folder, select the lantern shape 'Group' layer, and drag and drop it onto the Adobe Photoshop Eid flyer template.
Scale and position the lantern shape behind the moon.
Then Duplicate the lantern's "Vector Smart Object" layer by dragging it onto the New Layer button in the Layers panel. Scale and position it behind the arabesque frame. Repeat once again to place the third lantern behind the second, as shown below.

Step 3
Next, add some four-sided star shapes to the Eid flyer design.
Head back over to the "Ramadan 02" AI file.
From the Layers panel, select a star group minus the shadow layer. Drag and drop it onto the Adobe Photoshop Eid flyer template, and then scale and position it behind the moon shape.
Duplicate the star layer once again by dragging it onto the New Layer button. Scale and position as shown below.

Step 4
We will add one more four-sided star to the Ramadan flyer template design, without the hanging string attached to it.
Once again, head over to the "Ramadan 02" AI file.
From the Layers panel, select a star group minus the shadow layer and string shape. Drag and drop it onto the Adobe Photoshop Eid flyer template. Then scale and position the floating star wherever you find it fits onto the Eid celebration flyer.

Step 5
For the final touch, let's add some light to the back of the lanterns in the Eid flyer PSD file!
Select the Ellipse Tool (U). From the top Toolbar, Shape Properties, select a Gradient type Fill, null Stroke. Gradient Type: Radial with Opacity of 100% white to 0% white.
Play with the slider to adjust the spread of the white gradient, and position the ellipse behind the lantern. From the Layers panel, apply a Blend Mode: Screen, at 84% Opacity.

Step 6
Finally, create light for the two remaining lanterns on our Eid Mubarak template PSD.
With the "Ellipse 1" layer selected, drag it to the New Layer button in the Layers panel to duplicate it. Repeat once again, and then position each ellipse layer behind each lantern.
