The projects I've been working on lately mostly involve resolving issues left behind by others. Using GitHub Copilot hasn't really helped—it still suffers from significant hallucination issues. Rather than just generating code, I’m more interested in understanding the problems and helping to solve them. However, unless it’s very simple and short code, I personally feel that current AI tools haven’t reached that level yet.
This is also why I’m trying to develop some tools to assist myself in solving these kinds of problems. After all, I believe that in the future, relying solely on AI to write code will likely leave behind even more issues that need fixing.
With any revolutionary technological advancement, there will always be those who choose to dismiss or underestimate it, and others who use it superficially. But I believe the people who truly succeed are those who focus on it and study it carefully, even if it currently hasn’t reached a 90% accuracy rate.
