Imagine turning your old laptop into a fast machine--for free, in under 30 minutes. Let's make it happen......

First, think about why you want to install Linux.

-> I think you know the reason, if not, first find

the reason and come here

LET'S START..........(._.)................

This is for installing from Windows OS to Linux OS only.

-> Step 1 - Check whether BitLocker is off in

Your PC, for checking whether it is off
--Go to the start menu
--Search data encryption
--Turn off BitLocker

--> Step 2- we have to split the storage for linux os
for that
a) Go to Search and type Disk Manager, if this is not showing
Search computer management--In computer management
b) Next, click Disk Manager
--If there is free space, we can use that, if not
--Shrink the volume, now you will have I doubt
How to shrink the volume for that
-- Go to the disk manager, see which volume has
some extra space
-- We want at least 100 GB for linux os extra storage
-- Right-click on which volume you want to shrink
-- click shrink volume
-- Set the storage space you want
-- Click next ....next'
-- Now the space will be unallocated

Now the real installation begins

Note: Remember the Microsoft account mail ID and password before installation

I think it's getting too boring, let's make it interactive.

               INSERT THE PENDRIVE

This is the boot key for different systems.

--> After inserting the pendrive, press the boot key continuously
--> After reaching the boot menu, select the pendrive that is
inserted
--> Next, select the language
--> Press continue for network selection

NOW you will reach the multimedia codecs page ---

-->Tick the check box and set the password for secure boot
This is optional

NOTE: The next step is important.

--> Now you will reach the installation type page
--> choose something else

--> scroll up and down, you will find the free space in the
box
--> click the free space and press( + ) icon
--> Now it will redirect to the create partition menu
-->In this choose (/) for mount point from the drop-down
menu
--> click ok after selecting
--> NOW you reached |Who are you| page right?
--> Fill the basic details in this page
--> Keep the remaining check box as it is
and press continue

--> It will take some time to load, wait with patience....

*NOW WE CAME TO THE END *
After installing the remove the pendrive
