Web development has always been a space of endless possibilities. I always thought that with the rise of mobile app development, the web would slowly fade out, but it has kept moving on with the times.
I started building for the web back in 2019 and have been in love ever since. After COVID, juniors and mid-level devs have had it hard when it comes to the job market. Finding a job in the tech sector became nearly impossible for about 3 years, and while we have seen the situation getting better it has only gotten better for seniors. For someone who graduated in 2023, your competition is the so called seasoned developers whom we all know employers will pick over a new grad.
I have been working on katara-devs.com for the past 5 months, and my goal is to help bridge this gap. Katara is aimed at helping developers who are passionate about the web find their next gig, and it’s free for developers. All you have to do is create your profile and wait for companies to reach out to you.
Get started today, and let’s create the largest web dev directory and help you find your next job. katara
