30,000 people. 35 songs. 3 hours. Paul McCartney is a legend and seeing him perform live at Coors Field in Denver last weekend is everything I hoped it would be. The dude is 83 and has more energy and talent than a young whipper-snapper like me. We’d all consider ourselves lucky if we’re moving half as fast as him at his that age.

This was by far the largest show I’ve ever been to. I have never seen a larger crowd for a concert. The entirety of downtown Denver was like a new city with a vibrant pulse leading up to the event. Getting into the stadium was an exercise like no other. I figure that’s merely a taste of Beatlemania. If things were this nuts in 2025, I can’t imagine what it was like in 1964 back when stadium tours and an international pop star were a totally new things.

The setlist had something for everyone, as you might expect. It was packed with incredible hits, yet somehow still felt incomplete. Just gives you an idea of how important and prolific Paul is as an artist.
