We had a ticket planning meeting.
And by going through the tickets I noticed I hadn't completed a jira story in a long time.
I got caught up in finding new things that I wanted to implement as part of the same story.
I learned that the story needed clearer boundaries and a clear definition of done.
I learned that a product of a story could be another story with another goal and new ideas.
I will try to have a clearer focus on the story at hand.
If I find new ideas I want to implement I will put them in another story.
Otherwise you can get lost in your ideas and will never finish a story.
I think a saying is "stop starting and start finishing"
Did you have similar expeciences?
